Nature abhors vacuum. Those who miss BOLT THROWER do not sit and moan but act and play well structured death metal with lyrics that have to say more than blood, monsters or wizards.
Two inactive bands share this green 7”, a song each. HELLISHEAVEN from Poland play mid-tempo clear death metal, resembling the aforementioned UK legends, whereas WEALD (US) add more crust and stench to their death, which also results in faster bits, take Stormcrow as guidance.
Great EP and you definitely need to check both bands, especially HELLISHEAVEN who managed to release 2 split EPs, one split LP and 1 full-length. Still to be bought.

After N.T.Ä. dropped their debut album “Stories that Pave the Road to Hell” as an LP on Kidnap-Music, we’re now bringing you the cassette version. You can tell right away that N.T.Ä. isn’t the first band these three musicians from the Saarland have been in. Catchy guitar riffs that bridge the gap between melodic street punk and straight-up hardcore punk, drums that’ll knock the last brain cells out of your head, and the super-awesome voice of singer Nadine Nevermore, who can do it all—from snotty screeching to harmonious vocal melodies.
For the song “Molar,” they also enlisted the help of
Pascow singer Alex. Lyrically, the songs range from personal to political, covering topics such as sexism, (false) friendship, abuse, the right to access water, …

Nachdem Kidnap Music Ende 2025 die LP veröffentlicht hat kommt jetzt die Kassette bei ScumCulture Records raus.

Here is the second album from N.T.Ä. from the Saarland. Actually, there are two of them: Dark Stories I and II, recorded in two separate sessions, which together form this album that musically picks up where the first LP, “Stories that pave the road to hell,” left off: angry street punk whose lyrics navigate between personal and political themes without separating them—quite the opposite! After Kidnap Music released the LP in late 2025, the cassette is now being released by ScumCulture Records.

In 2011, these two bands decided to release their experimental noise as a DIY split tape. The (presumably) last remaining copies have found their way to us through a series of twists and turns.
